I frequently use the threat of how they need to have good table manners in case they ever dine with the Queen, because she’ll cut their heads off.

LOVE a good eater!! My kids are picky picky picky. (I still love them, though.)
I’m going to make some bacon now. And a second cup of coffee.
Mine are super picky too! There isn’t one thing that all of them like. As soon as you think you find it, one decides to not like it anymore. To be different. Because, clearly, we need more differences in our house.
Ha! My son is just as picky. And, hmm…that’s exactly how my husband leaves his silverware…

Our seven year old knows he has to clear his dishes when he finishes a meal, but he has never done it once and has been called back to the table hundreds and hundreds of times.
They never learn as long as we let them get away with it. I keep telling them not to grow, too, and they defy me.
That would cut down on the clothes bill, wouldn’t it?
